A new online revision planner - customisable to meet each student's needs - has been launched.
The brainchild of Elaine Gordan, My Revision Plan, emerged as she tried to help her own son plan his studies for GCSEs.
More than 100 schools and 2,000 students have taken part in trials for the site and the end product is a website designed with both teachers and students in mind.
Mike Sherratt, who is involved in the project, said: "We are getting large numbers of students using the site in the run up to GCSE, AS, A levels as well as other exams, but there are still a huge number of schools and students that are not using it to help them in their attempts to pass exams.
"We strongly feel that this facility can benefit every student, especially as it is completely free for them to use."
It is free of charge and there's an online tutorial to take users through the process of drawing up a personal revision plan.
